Food and wine have been part of our lives. Unable to cook for only two, the ability to create feasts is natural.
Casual and comfort foods are the speciality here – but that does not exclude menu options which encompass themes and various internationally inspired dishes.
The March Long Weekends are a great Food and Wine time in Rutherglen. The autumn weather is stunning. We expand our menu to explore new ideas which are linked to specific wines. This is not a time you will find Calico Town Wines and The Wicked Virgin on the major brochures - but joining our devotees on these weekends will be rewarded with surprise, satisfaction and “something different”.
Open Thursday - Monday we offer quiet “anytime” lunch, coffee, tea and house made cakes. A variety of functions available by arrangement.
